You Asked, We Listened

People asked if we could increase the stability of the Deity Connect system as whole but also in rough RF environments. The Latency menu allows you to increase the retransmissions of missing audio to help prevent drop outs. This can also be used if you are using multiple transmitters/kits together. The Auto-RF setting has been optimized to work best with the new high setting as the added time allows the RF meter bar to measure and adjust the RF output to the needs of the situation.
  • Low = 19ms ( <1/2 Frame @24fps)
  • Medium = 30ms (3/4 Frame @24fps)
  • High = 40ms (~1 Frame @24fps)
We also fine tuned the analog limiter settings to sound more natural. As while as added a new home screen display feature that will show ZZZZZ in the USER ID area after you’ve put a transmitter to sleep. Latestly we did some general maintenance and fixing rare bugs that a couple of customers experienced.

Change Log V1.32

BP-TX:
1. Optimize the Limiter
2. Optimized .bin file verification method
3. Fixes microphone detection bug

DUO-RX:
1. Added a Latency Menu; with low, medium and high with different latency delay times (19ms, 30ms, 40ms). Each step increases the amount of retransmissions the DUO-RX will request from a transmitter in order to repair dropped audio before the audio stream is suppose to be output to the camera/recorder. When operating in heavy 2.4Ghz traffic, increase the latency to maintain a stable link between your devices.
2. Optimize the RX home screen display when you put a TX in sleep state (now displays ZzzZZ where the User ID is on the RX home screen)
3. Update the boot loader software (the operating system that runs the firmware) to be more efficient and reliable

System Wide:
1. TX/RX Auto RF has been optimized for 40ms (High Latency Mode). The extra 21ms allows for more time for the Auto RF to adjust and giving you more “range” to dip below the RF threshold that triggers the Auto RF to adjust.

Change Log V1.2

BP-TX:
1. Optimize VU Meters, they now are measured on a dBFS scale
2. Added markers to show where -6dB and -20dB is on the scale
3. Optimize USER ID settings
4. Compatible with USB storage formatted exFat
5. Changed the system reset setting, TX sensitivity setting now defaults to +24dB
6. When inserting USB storage formatted NTFS, the prompt error message has been changed from ‘No update file’ to ‘FatFs error’

DUO-RX:
1. Optimize VU Meters, they now are measured on a dBFS scale
2. Added markers to show where -6dB and -20dB is on the scale
3. Added DUO-RX RF Power adjustable menu(can be setting 10mW, 25mW, 50mW, 100mW.) This setting controls your “range” to send out remote control setting changes on the BP-TX
4. Optimize USER ID settings
5. Compatible with USB storage formatted exFat
6. Modify the system reset setting, the RX output level is set to -9dB by default.
7. When inserting USB storage formatted NTFS, the prompt error message has been changed from ‘No update file’ to ‘FatFs error’

Change Log V1.1

  1. Enabled more gain on the TX from +21dB to +36dB
  2. Reduced self-noise in the RX output when using XLR cables
  3. Relabeled the menu item “Mono>Record Mode” to “Mono>XLR Mode”
  4. Reduced screen unlock time from 3 seconds to 2 seconds
  5. Fine-tuned the analog limiters settings to engage softer
  6. Increased the sensitivity of the VU meters on the TX and the RX
